10:16:31 From Chris Carrick : For Lynn, will the community solar array meet all of the demand of the CCA customers? 10:22:27 From Moneer Azzam : Lynn can you share carbon tracker firm that you are considering. Two others to consider are Bright Action (Palo Alto) and Footprints (Houston). 10:24:40 From Lynn Arthur : No, the idea is to build our needs from the ground up. We are talking to developers about other projects already, school districts, and CDG projects built elsewhere in the LIPA Service Area since doesn’t need to be within the boundaries of Southampton 10:25:18 From Lynn Arthur : https://cure100.org/carbon-tracker/ 10:26:16 From Chris Carrick : the movement to promote PACE nationwide was greatly assisted by groups like PACE Nation - are there similar groups promoting CCAs nationwide, or helping different efforts across state agencies? 10:26:18 From Lynn Arthur : Thanks I will check those others out - are you/do you know who is using either one of them? 10:28:15 From Mike Sandler : Hi everyone, I am new to the group. I have been working with a group called LEAN Energy US, which has connections to many "emerging" CCA states. 10:32:30 From Moneer Azzam : https://www.brightaction.com/ 10:33:35 From Moneer Azzam : Hi Lynn, Bright Action works with Palo Alto, Fremont, Williamstown MA (I think) and several others who I don't recall. 10:35:41 From Lynn Arthur : I can’t find a link to Footprints? 10:36:44 From Moneer Azzam : https://www.footprintapp.org/ 10:37:09 From Moneer Azzam : Footprints is more oriented for businesses with plans to expand to cities 10:43:34 From Lynn Arthur : Instead of exit fees. LIPA is talking about splitting the monthly Power Supply charge into “bypassable and non-bypassable” whereby the non-bypassable is ~5.4 cents of the currently 11 cents/kWh power supply rate. Leaving only 50% of power supply cost to be competitively bid. The 5.4 cents is needed to cover the cost of long term contracts for carbon based power supply. 10:48:26 From David Duperrault : Why has community solar not taken hold in California? 10:49:08 From Charles Howland : From the Sabin Center's Model Laws for Deep Decarbonization, links to many state's versions of CCAs, & some summaries/policy pieces, including decision matricies: https://lpdd.org/resources/?fwp_res_search=community%20choice%20aggregation&fwp_paged=2 10:49:47 From Mike Sandler : When I was in California, there was an obstacle called the "over the fence rule" where you could only sell to neighbors who share a property line. But that is 10 years ago, things may have changed. 11:02:48 From Lynn Arthur : unmute 11:03:07 From Baird Brown : Lynn 215-586-6615 happy to talk but better next week. 11:03:37 From Rick Reibstein : Great discussion! Thanks!
