    NY    ..In 2018 Charlie joined Curtis, Mallet-Prevost to head its Environmental group after a 28 year career at the USEPA.  He advises clients on all aspects of environmental law, including the cleanup and redevelopment of sites, and on ‘grid edge’ energy projects including ‘brightfields.’  He is also General Counsel for Customized Energy Solutions, Ltd., which provides market forecasts, hosted energy market operations platforms, and related advisory services for clients in the wholesale and retail electricity and natural gas markets in the U.S., Canada, India and Japan

    PeakPower LI works with municipalities to develop programs that align with the Municipal Sustainability Plan, including policies and building code. We collaborate with municipal staff executing programs that educate and stimulate constituents to lower their carbon footprint. Recently our marketing campaign successfully harnessed public pressure to motivate an inflection point resulting in regulatory change to enable CCA on Long Island

  • National – Shalom Flank Microgrid Architect   
    Dr. Flank became the nation’s first “microgrid architect” over a decade ago, and continues to design and develop MW-scale microgrid projects in the U.S. Northeast and beyond.  He is also active in the policy, regulatory, and financial innovations needed to propel such projects to success.    .

  •  CA – Robert Perry- Synergistic Solutions
    Robert Perry serves as the Director of Energy Research for the World Business Academy, a 501(c)(3) think tank focused on the role business in solving humanity’s largest challenges. Mr. Perry researches issues underlying energy generation, transmission and distribution, microgrid, and storage systems as they relate to development of an integrated distributed energy system capable of operating entirely on renewable energy.
  • CT – Mark Scully People’s Action for Clean Energy 
    PACE seeks to transition Connecticut to clean energy through grassroots education and advocacy. Through its 100PercentCT Project, PACE is developing viable plans for individual towns to move to 100% renewable energy. PACE is the largest all volunteer organization in the state engaged with these issues, and its members are active at public events, legislative hearings and environmental forums, both in person and on state and local television and radio. PACE is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
  • OH – Myra Moss Ohio State University Extension Sustainable Development Initiative & Energize Ohio 
    The Sustainable Development Initiative approaches energy, education, planning and research from a sustainable perspective, incorporating the cornerstones of sustainability into our work with communities, organizations, and businesses.  Program topics encompass sustainable community planning, entrepreneurship and energy development.
  • TN – Michael Walton  Green Spaces  – 
    Green|spaces is a 501(c)3 that advances the sustainability of living, working, and building in Chattanooga,TN and the surrounding region. This is done through Empower Chattanooga, an outreach, education, and training program in underserved neighborhoods. The program focuses on resilience and affordability of utilities; green|light, Chattanooga’s Green Business Certification; the NextGen Homes, a demonstration of market-rate net zero energy residential development; as well as other programming including green school summits, networking, consulting, speaking, sustainability professional development, and a store-front public resource center.
